Lots going on over the past few months.  I've been building several custom aerial props for different clients.  Just today, I completed work on an aerial moon.  Built out of plate aluminum, with internal LED lights, this prop is the absolute top end of environmental or atmospheric performance.  Hanging from a single point, this apparatus stays balanced regardless of the size of the performer.  It can be hung from, stood upon, laid down in, anything you can imagine.  The LED lighting is controlled by DMX to sync with a lighting designer's rig, or by the internal encoder.  It can also be powered by a battery, so this could be completely wireless!  The non-slip surface is grippy to bare skin, but not rough to make it uncomfortable.  As the test subject said, "It's like a hammock.  I could go to sleep, this is so comfy!"  PS - the image below is an actual photograph, not a rendering.
